The earth needs regeneration

In the last 100 years, we have seen more environmental destruction than ever in the history of civilisation. Humans have been the drivers of ecological disbalance, and it is only humans who can help restore balance and harmony.

The relationship between humans, animals and plants lies at the core of this balance. Children of today have to learn that the resources of this earth that we take for granted are not infinite. While humans depend on plants and animals for food and all resources of living, we must also realise that exploiting mindlessly, without replenishing the earth these resources will surely lead to global warming to an extent that the damage will be irreversible.

CAPE’s vision is to heal this earth, to help restore the balance and interdependence between humans, animals and plants. While the vision is mammoth, CAPE believes that this change is possible through evolution of individuals and organisations, the common person and governments, from being extractive to being restorative. Cooperation and collaboration is key to achieving the biggest challenge to this existential crisis.
